Aunt Betty'S Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. softened oleo
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    10 Tbsp. cocoa or 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Add dry ingredients and vanilla.
    If mixture is too thick, add a little cold water.
    A thinner batter is better.
    Turn into greased and floured 15 x 10 x 2-inch jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
    Cool.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with Chocolate Frosting.
