Fudge Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
    3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and cocoa in 2-quart saucepan. Gradually stir in milk and cook over medium heat until thick. Remove from heat.
    Stir a small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks.
    Return to saucepan mixture and cook 5 minutes more. Remove from heat.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Cool 5 minutes and pour into baked pie shell.
    Spread meringue to edges, covering pie, and bake about 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
