Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. whole milk
    2 c. heavy cream
    2 c. sugar
    1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    4 junket tables dissolved in 2 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Mix milk, cream, sugar, salt, and vanilla.
    Heat to lukewarm and add junkets.
    Mix well.
    Pour in freezer and allow to stand for five minutes before freezing.
    Add any fruit desired prior to pouring into freezer.
