Maple Walnut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. maple syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
    Add walnuts, stirring to cook evenly with flour mixture. Combine milk, eggs, oil, syrup and vanilla.
    Add all at once to flour mixture and stir only to dampen dry ingredients.
    Turn batter into greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes, then turn onto rack to cool completely.
    Wrap cooled bread in foil and store overnight for easier slicing.
    Serve with butter or cream cheese.
