Barbecue Ribs(Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3-4 lbs. spareribs
    Salt and pepper
    1 onion, sliced
    1 16-oz. bottle smoky barbecue sauce OR 2 c. of your favorite homemade sauce
Preparation
    Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper and broil 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat.
    Put the sliced onion in the Crock-Pot.
    Slice the ribs into serving pieces and put in on top of the onion.
    Pour in the barbecue sauce.
    Cover and cook on Low 8-10 hours (High: 4-5 hours).
