Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 slices bread
    8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
    6 eggs
    3 cups milk (you may use cream or half and half)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 strips crisp bacon cut in half
    6 strips of crisp, crumbled bacon for topping
Preparation
    Trim crust from bread.
    Tear bread into pieces.
    Mix with shredded cheese.
    Spread in a 7 1/2 X 12 inch greased baking dish alternating with strips of bacon.
    Beat eggs with milk.
    Stir in salt, pepper, mustard and cream of tartar.
    Pour over bread and cheese mixture.
    Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Back uncovered for 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.
