Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    5 eggs
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    1 c. white sugar
    1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Cut
    up
    fruit and nuts; mix with 1/4 cup flour and set aside. beat butter and sugar until creamy.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add flour
    and
    flavorings.
    Stir
    in\tfruit
    and
    nut mixture.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
