Crispy-Crinkly Spice Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, unbeaten
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. powdered cloves
    3/4 tsp. powdered ginger
Preparation
    Mix together, shortening, sugar, egg and molasses.
    Sift together and stir in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and ginger.
    Mix all together and form into walnut-sized balls. Put them two inches apart on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until crispy and crinkly!
