Pork With Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh pork
    cooking oil
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper
    boiling water
    3 sour apples, pared and cored
    4 sweet potatoes, pared and cut in halves
Preparation
    Cut pork into pieces suitable for serving and place in skillet with oil; brown, then remove.
    Add onion; brown slightly.
    Return pork to skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper and cover with boiling water.
    Add the apples and sweet potatoes.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 until potatoes and apples are tender.
    (Serve with sliced tomato salad, milk, bread and butter.)
