Ingredients

1 c. softened butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/4 c. honey
1 tsp. brandy or lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. white raisins
1 c. chopped dates
2 c. chopped pecans or almonds
1/2 c. each: red cherries, green cherries and pineapple
Preparation

Mix all by hand.
Cream butter.
Beat in sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, without previous beating.
Beat well after each egg.
Sift all dry ingredients together in separate bowl.
In another bowl, mix together the honey, brandy and vanilla.
Add a little honey mixture to butter, alternating with flour mixture.
Add fruits and nuts.
Grease cookie sheet lightly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 11 minutes.
