Garlic Roasted Chicken And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    6 chicken legs
    6 medium potatoes (2 lb.)
    24 garlic cloves (unpeeled)
    salt
    1/4 c. maple syrup
Preparation
    In a large roasting pan in a 400\u00b0 oven, melt butter.
    Remove pan from oven.
    Cut potatoes in bite size chunks.
    Place chicken, potatoes and garlic in pan.
    Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
    Turn ingredients to coat with butter; arrange chicken skin side up. Bake 40 minutes, basting occasionally with drippings.
    Mix syrup and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a cup.
    Brush chicken with syrup mixture and spoon drippings in pan over potatoes and chicken.
    Bake 20 minutes longer, until chicken and potatoes are fork-tender.
