Strawberry Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
    5 egg yolks (unbeaten)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. egg whites
Preparation
    Measure the first 4 ingredients level, then sift into bowl. Add the next 5 ingredients, in order, to dry ingredients.
    Whip the egg whites and cream of tartar to very stiff peaks.
    Pour yolk mixture into egg whites; fold carefully.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 55 minutes, plus 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Turn pan upside down until cold.
