Never Fail Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 large can Pet evaporated milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    2 sticks margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and milk.
    Put over medium heat; bring to a boil.
    Boil 11 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add chocolate chips, margarine and vanilla. Beat with electric mixer for 20 minutes on high.
    Add 1 cup nuts. Pour into buttered pans and cool.
    Cut in pieces.
    Makes 4 pounds.
