Swedish Kringle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 Tbsp. water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Mix flour, butter and 1 tablespoon water together as for pie crust.
Pat real thin in cookie sheet or brownie pan.
Bring 1 cup water and butter to a boil.
Add almond extract and 1 cup flour. Mix well.
Take off heat and add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Spread this mixture on crust and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes. Spread with butter frosting to which 2 teaspoons almond extract has been added. Top with sliced almonds.
