June Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg white
Preparation
    Place sugar, water, salt and cream of tartar in saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Pour, while beating constantly, over unbeaten egg white.
    Beat until frosting holds up in a peak. Add vanilla anytime during beating.
    This frosting remains soft.
