3 Week Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, grated
    3 to 4 carrots, grated
    2 c. celery chopped
    1 large onion, grated
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Bring celery seed, salt, vinegar and sugar to a boil.
    Pour over slaw.
    Cover tightly and refrigerate.
    Turn over occasionally. Keeps 3 weeks.
