Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. lard
    1/2 c. water
    pinch of salt
    2 heaping tsp. baking powder
    2 heaping tsp. ginger
    flour to make a soft dough
Preparation
    Mix all together and make into balls the size of a hickory nut.
    Bake in slow oven.
