Angel Fluff Rice Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can pineapple (crushed)
1 c. uncooked regular rice
16 oz. Cool Whip
2 c. marshmallows
1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Cook rice until done.
When done, add 1 1/2 cups sugar while warm for dissolving.
Cool rice and add 1 can crushed pineapple. Be sure to drain pineapple, because the juice will curdle Cool Whip.
Add Cool Whip and marshmallows to rice and pineapple.
May need more Cool Whip if rice texture is too thick.
Mix in walnuts and chunks of pineapple (optional).
Place candied cherries on top.
