Applesauce Fruit Cake Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. buttermilk
6 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped candied cherries (red and green) and candied pineapple
1 c. chopped pecans
sifted powdered sugar (optional)

Preparation

In large bowl, thoroughly mix all dry ingredients.
In medium bowl, mix applesauce, buttermilk, butter, fruits and nuts.
