Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 pinches of salt
2 c. applesauce
2 tsp. soda
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. shortening
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix soda with applesauce; set aside.
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs.
Beat well.
Add applesauce mixture and remaining dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
Add nuts; bake in greased and floured angel food cake pan for about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
