Walk-To-School Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (no substitutes)
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    4 1/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream softened butter and sugar.
    Add flour and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Form into marble size balls and place on a cookie sheet. Mash balls flat with bottom of a small glass or fork dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 11 minutes.
    Makes 10 to 12 dozen.
