Creole Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 large chopped onion
    2 minced garlic cloves
    1 green pepper, chunked
    1 c. diced cooked ham
    10 small pork sausages
    1 c. small shrimp
    2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 1/2 c. chicken bouillon
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1 crushed bay leaf
Preparation
    Melt oil in Dutch oven.
    Add onion, garlic and green pepper. Saute, stirring often, until vegetables are tender.
    Add ham and sausages and cook for a few minutes.
    Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
    Cover and bake for about 1 1/2 hours or until rice is tender.
    Serves 4.
