My Mother'S Date-Nut Bread #1 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. pitted dates
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
dash of molasses
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 egg
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
-
Blend together dates, water, butter, salt, sugar and molasses. Add flour, soda, cream of tartar, egg and walnuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 60 minutes until straw inserted comes out clean.
