Butter Pecan Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1/2 c. half and half
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. toasted pecan halves
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    In large saucepan, bring oleo, half and half, granulated sugar, brown sugar and salt to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Add powdered sugar and stir until smooth and well blended. Spread into 8 x 8 dish sprayed with Pam. Cool and cut into squares. Makes approximately 5 dozen.
