Marinade For Teriyaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soy sauce
    1 c. beer
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 lb. chicken or thinly sliced steak
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except meat in a bowl and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
    Pour mixture over the meat and marinate 12 to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
    Bake on a broiler pan at 350\u00b0 or grill on barbecue.
    Baste meat throughout the cooking time.
