Rouladen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices beef top round steak (1/8 inch thick)
    1/2 c. Dijon mustard
    8 slices lean bacon
    4 dill pickles, chopped
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    dried marjoram
    8 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 medium carrots
    1 medium onion, quartered
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1 qt. hot beef broth
    2 bay leaves
