Banana-Pecan Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. chopped pecans, lightly toasted
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together, then beat in the eggs.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves.
Add this dry mixture to the wet mixture.
Mix very well, then add the bananas and vanilla.
Stir in the nuts.
Divide the mixture evenly into two 8 x 4 x 2 1/2-inch greased bread pans and bake at 350\u00b0 until the loaves are browned and a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. This should take approximately 1 hour.
Remove bread from pans and cool.
