Pecan Cookies(Easy - Makes 8 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 well-beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Fold in nuts. Drop by the teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
