German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green onion tops
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    6 c. sliced, cooked and peeled potatoes
Preparation
    In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp; take out and set aside.
    Drain
    all but 3 tablespoons bacon drippings.
    Add onions and
    cook
    until tender.
    Stir in flour, blending well, and add vinegar
    and
    water.
    Cook
    and stir until bubbly and thickened. Add
    sugar
    and
    stir
    until
    it
    has
    dissolved. Crumble bacon; gently toss with potatoes.
    Add to skillet and stir to
    coat potatoes.
    Heat until potatoes are warm.
    Serve immediately.
