Yeast Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 3 1/2 c. unsifted self-rising flour
    1 cake yeast or 1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. hot diluted evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
Preparation
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
    Pour hot milk over sugar and shortening; cool to lukewarm.
    Add 1/2 cup flour and mix thoroughly.
    Stir in softened yeast and half of remaining flour; beat thoroughly.
    Add enough flour to form a soft dough.
