Orange-Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 orange
    1 c. raisins
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. citron
Preparation
    Extract juice from the orange; strain and add boiling water to make 1 cup.
    Mix ingredients well.
    Pour into 2 loaf pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
