Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger
    1 lb. ground pork
    1 egg
    1 c. old fashioned oatmeal
    salt (about 1 tsp.)
    pepper to taste
    1 onion, chopped (or if you have a blender, chop the onion in it with some bouillon and water, seasoned with A.1.sauce, about 1 c. liquid)
Preparation
    Put all ingredients together in a large bowl and mix with your hands (clean, of course) until well mixed.
    Shape into a round loaf.
    (This can make two.)
    Put slices of bacon on the bottom of the baking pan.
    Lay meat loaf on top of bacon and put a slice or two of bacon on top of the loaf.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for an hour.
