Vinegar Pie (Circa 1959) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 eggs
    1 unbaked pastry shell
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add dry ingredients, eggs, vinegar and water.
    Cook in double boiler until thickened, stirring constantly. Line pie pan with pastry and bake 5 minutes in moderate oven, 350\u00b0.
    Then pour in filling and continue baking until crust is browned, about 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes 1 small pie.
