Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    pinch of salt
    1 c. water
    2 egg yolks
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1/4 stick oleo
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Measure 1 cup water and enough added to the dry ingredients to make a paste.
    Blend into the paste 2 slightly beaten egg yolks, followed with the remainder of the water and one small can evaporated milk.
    The mixture is cooked, stirring frequently, over a slow flame.
    One-fourth stick of butter is added during the cooking process and when the filling is thick, 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla is blended in.
    The mixture is ready to pour into pastry shell.
