Ravioli With Ham And Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1/4 c. chicken broth
    1 c. frozen baby peas, thawed
    1 c. heavy or whipping cream
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 pkg. (7- or 8-oz. each) fresh cheese ravioli or tortellini
    2 oz. cooked ham, cut into strips
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Cook ravioli according to package directions.
    Meanwhile, melt butter or heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add onion and garlic and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
    Add chicken broth and cook 2 minutes.
    Add peas, cream and pepper. Bring sauce to boil; boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add ham.
    Drain cooked ravioli; toss in a large heated serving bowl with cream sauce and sprinkle with parsley.
    Makes 4 servings.
