Autumn Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 c. diced, unpeeled apples
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. whipped topping
Preparation
    Combine pineapple and sugar, bring to boil for 3 minutes.
    Add jello and cream cheese.
    Stir and let cool.
    When cool, fold into apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping.
    Pour into baking dish and chill until firm.
