Bird In Bush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. thawed sausage
    1 large, raw egg
    8 large eggs, hard-cooked, shelled and patted dry
    flour
    1/2 c. packaged bread crumbs
    4 c. vegetable oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Mix sausage and egg until well blended; divide into 8 even portions.
    Roll hard-cooked eggs in flour to lightly coat.
    Pat 1 portion of sausage around each egg to form thin, even coating. Roll eggs in bread crumbs to coat.
    Heat oil to 375\u00b0 over medium heat.
    Fry 5 to 6 minutes until golden, turning often to brown on all sides.
    Drain on paper towels.
