Janet'S Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 (46 oz.) can orange juice
    5 ripe bananas
    4 c. water
    6 c. sugar
    2 to 3 bottles ginger ale and/or Sprite
Preparation
    Mix bananas in blender or processor until \"mushy\".
    Boil water and sugar, then cool.
    Mix all ingredients and freeze.
    When ready for use, defrost in punch bowl adding ginger ale and/or Sprite.
    I always add almond flavoring to taste.
