Creamy Garlic Spinach Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. spinach
    32 oz. chicken broth (canned)
    3 medium carrots
    1 c. onion, chopped
    8 medium garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. cream half and half
    1/2 c. cream (heavy whipping)
Preparation
    Remove stalks from the spinach and coarsely chop.
    Grate the carrots.
    Combine spinach with chicken broth and carrots in a 2 to 3-quart pot.
    Cook 5 to 10 minutes until carrots are tender and spinach wilted.
    Remove from heat.
