Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch or 5 Tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. moist shredded coconut
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan.
Add milk gradually; stir until mixed.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Boil one minute. Remove from heat; blend in egg yolks.
Stir in butter and vanilla, then cool.
Pour into cooked pie crust.
