Creamy Rice With Milk - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    milk as needed (5 to 6 c.)
Preparation
    Put rice and water into double boiler.
    Add salt and bring to boil and cook over water at medium heat.
    When rice has expanded, keep adding milk and stirring occasionally until it has the consistency of custard.
    Add 3/4 cups sugar and 2 tablespoons butter.
    When thoroughly cooked (about 2 hours), pour into bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon.
