Christmas Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 lb. xxxx sugar
    5 well beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. coconut
    1 small bottle red cherries
    1 small bottle green cherries
Preparation
    Cream butter, eggs and sugar; add vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Add flour, baking powder and milk; beat.
    Fold in coconut and cherries. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
