St. John Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    cinnamon and sugar (mixed half and half)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 large bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Mix in sifted dry ingredients.
    Beat in mashed bananas.
    Add nuts. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
    While the bread is still warm, pour melted butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
    Yields 1 loaf.
