Apple And Cheddar Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 apples, cored, sliced (not peeled)
1 onion, sliced into rings
2 to 3 Tbsp. margarine
3 Tbsp. apple juice or apple brandy
1 c. grated Cheddar
3/4 c. bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. thyme
6 (6 oz.) boneless, skinless chicken filets, pounded to a uniform thickness
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Saute apples and onions in margarine until just tender.
Mix Cheddar, Parmesan, bread crumbs and thyme.
Place apples and onions in bottom of casserole dish.
Cover with chicken and pour apple juice over.
Spread dry mixture over top and moisten with margarine.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 6.
