Classic Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pastry for single crust
8 slices crisp bacon
2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. light cream
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Cook and crumble bacon.
Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender.
Mix eggs, milk, cream, flour and seasoning.
Stir in bacon, onion and Swiss cheese.
Pour in shell.
Cover edges of crust with foil if necessary to prevent overbrowning.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
