Boiled Shrimp In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shelled and cleaned shrimp
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 whole lemon, cut in half
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (12 oz. size) cans beer
    2 c. sliced onion
    4 sprigs parsley
    1 bay leaf
    pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except shrimp.
    Bring to a boil and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
    Add shrimp and bring back to a vigorous boil for about 2 to 3 minutes.
    Remove pan from heat and let cool. Strain and then discard all seasonings.
    Chill shrimp and serve with cocktail sauce.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
