Strawberry Angel Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    3/4 c. cold water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries (sliced), thawed
    1 (8 oz.) bowl Cool Whip
    5 c. angel food cake cubes (tear cake apart)
Preparation
    In pan, mix gelatin and water; let stand 5 minutes to soften. Heat just until it dissolves.
    Remove from heat.
    Add sugar; stir until dissolved.
    Stir in undrained berries.
    Chill until partially thickened.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Pour into bowl, over cake pieces; mix gently.
    Pour into an ungreased 8-inch dish. Chill until firm.
