Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. warm milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Melt 1 cup sugar.
    Add to warm milk, a little at a time.
    Add remaining sugar.
    Cook to a soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla, butter and pecans.
    Beat.
    Drop on waxed paper or buttered surface.
    Yields 35 pralines.
