Western Skillet Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese
Preparation
    In medium skillet, brown meat, stirring frequently.
    Stir in the onion soup mix, water, rice and tomatoes; simmer, covered, for 25 minutes, or until rice is tender.
    Top with cheese.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
