Sweet And Sour Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
    1/2 c. water
    juice of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. strawberry jelly
    1 (12 oz.) bottle Heinz chili sauce
    salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, water, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Shape into walnut size balls.
    Combine chili sauce, jelly and lemon juice in a large saucepan.
    Heat until jelly melts.
    Drop uncooked meatballs into sauce and simmer 45 minutes.
    Refrigerate until excess grease is removed.
    Reheat and serve in chafing dish.
